फिर होली आ गयी (कविता का शीर्षक)
लाल गुलाबी रंग से रंगी थी
तू मेरे दिल पर छा गई
बहुत याद सता रही है सनम
आज फिरसे होली आ गयी
हाथों में रंग गुलाल लिए
हम दोनो घूमते थे सारा जहान
नसीब ने खेल खेला कुछ ऐसा
आज तूम कहाँ हम कहाँ
तेरी याद मुझे आज फिरसे
सता रही है
तू भी मुझे याद करती होगी ये
मेरे दिल की जुबां
बता रही है
पहले तू मेरे हाथ में रंग गुलाल
देख मुझसे दूर भागती थी
एक बार रंग जाती मेरे हाथों से
तो फिर मेरे साथ होली खेलने आती थी
होके लाल पीले हम दोनों
होली के रंग में खो जाते
कितना मज़ा आता अगर आज भी
हम दोनों साथ होली मनाते

बहुत याद सता रही है सनम

Lal gulabi rang se rangi thi (You were colored in red and pink)
Tu mere dil par cha gayi (You stole my heart)
Bahut yaad sata rahi hai sanam (I am missing you a lot dear)
Aaj phir se Holi agayi (The festival of Holi has arrived again today)
Hatho mein rang gulal liye (Holding colors in our hands)
Ham dono ghumte the saara jahan (We used to wander the entire world)
Naseeb ne khel khela kuch aisa (The fate played such a game)
Aaj tum kahan ham kahan (Today where are you and where I am)
Teri yad mujhe aj phir se (Today again your memory)
Sata rahi hai (Is haunting me)
Tu bhi mujhe yad karti hogi ye (You also would be remembering me, this)
Mere dil ki zubaan (The voice of my heart)
Bata rahi hai (Is telling me)
Pehle tu meregath mein rang gulal (Earlier on seeing colors in my hands)
Dekh mujhse dur bhagti thi (You would run far away from me)
Ek baar rang jati mere hatho se (On being colored by my hands once)
To phir mere sath Holi khelne aati thi (Then you would come and play Holi festival with me)
Hoke lal peele ham dono (After being colored red and yellow we both)
Holi ke rang mein kho jate (We would be lost in the colors of Holi festival)
Kitna maza ata agar aaj bhi (We would have enjoyed a lot if today too)
Ham dono sath Holi manate (If we both had played Holi together)
